The SEG Awards Level 3 Certificate in General Patisserie and Confectionery is designed for learners who have an interest in patisserie and confectionery as an area of employment and want to develop practical skills in this area. This qualification has been redeveloped with industry specialists, with the aim to enable learners to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to produce patisserie and confectionery products to a high quality standard.
Learners will complete this qualification with a comprehensive understanding of producing the following:
- Hot, cold desserts and frozen desserts
- Fermented dough and batter products
- Biscuits, cakes and sponges
