This qualification was developed for learners who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment, for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment. Learners will complete this qualification with a concrete understanding of the following:

Adaption to Delivery/Assessments under the Extended Extraordinary Regulatory Framework (‘EERF’):
Remote observation is permitted in extremis providing that the means by which this observation is carried out is sufficient to the purpose of an assessor satisfying themselves on all necessary criteria. Consequently, it should provide a full and sufficient picture of the interaction with adequate clarity and audio such that any witness has a full view and is able to hear the key aspects of any action or exchange.
All assessment criteria must be completed in full. Special Considerations cannot be used on a whole-cohort basis in lieu of adaptions.
Centres may apply to use remote observation by completing a variation to assessment request form.
