Here at Skills and Education Group Awards, we are passionate about apprenticeships and the futures of your apprentices. Our end-point assessment provision is growing all the time and we are always keen to bring new Centres onboard. For National Apprenticeship Week 2023, we’ve highlighted some of the top reasons why you should consider choosing us as your End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO).
1. We specialise in various sectors
Here at Skills and Education Group Awards, we work with industry specialists to provide high-quality end-point assessment solutions in various sectors. In particular, we specialise in end-point assessments for the Fashion and Textiles, Youth and Community, and Automotive sectors.
We are the leading awarding organisation for fashion and textiles, and the only EPAO that offers fashion and textiles end-point assessments, including the Level 2 Textile Care Operative and Level 5 Bespoke Tailor and Cutter.
We also offer the Level 3 Youth Support Worker end-point assessment, complementing our wide range of youth work qualifications. Our range also covers the Level 2 Autocare Technician, Level 2 Urban Driver, and Level 2 Commercial Laundry Operative standards.
We are always looking to expand our provision and have exciting plans for 2023. Enter your email address in the footer of our website to be the first to hear about new end-point assessment developments.
2. Guidance throughout the end-point assessment process
Our experience with the apprenticeship standards in several industries means we know exactly what employers and apprentices need, making the assessment process clear, easy to use and responsive.
You will be allocated your own Independent End-Point Assessor (IEPA) with relevant industry experience to undertake the end-point assessment. We’ll also provide you with the resources and documentation you need for the full process.
3. Dedicated, supportive end-point assessment team
With Skills and Education Group Awards, you benefit from the support of a team that is focused purely on supporting you and your apprentices throughout the end-point assessment process. Our End-Point Assessment Officers each look after specific apprenticeship standards, meaning you can access the person you need for support and queries.
4. Access more end-point assessments through our wider family
We are part of the wider Skills and Education Group, which also comprises BIIAB, another registered EPAO. They offer 19 end-point assessments across the Hospitality and Catering, Retail and Procurement, Business Support, and Health and Social Care sectors, including the following examples:
- Level 2 Adult Care Worker
- Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative
- Level 3 Chef de Partie
- Level 4 Hospitality Manager
- Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager
Collectively, our Group-wide offer covers 33 different apprenticeship standards. To find out more about BIIAB end-point assessments, visit the BIIAB website.
5. We make a positive impact
The Skills and Education Group champions education and skills-oriented organisations, providers and learners, making real change locally, nationally and internationally.
By choosing Skills and Education Group Awards as your EPAO, you’re working with a charitable organisation that is dedicated to the advancement of skills and education to improve the lives of individuals. Furthermore, through the Skills and Education Group you can access a range of other services for your organisation, including membership benefits, professional development opportunities, and funding support for learners.
