Skills and Education Group Awards is looking for specialist sub-contractors and Independent End-point Assessors to join its team of moderators, examiners and independent assessors.

Sub-contractors are subject specialists and act as our representatives, liaising with approved centres to establish consistency in the processes and standards of assessment and quality assurance.

Our Moderators support continuous improvement by offering advice, guidance and examples of good practice to safeguard qualification standards; sample Centre internal assessment and verification via our external moderation process to confirm achievement.

Our Examiners set and mark external assessments.

Our Independent End-point Assessors work across a range of apprenticeship standards to deliver a variety of end-point assessments.

We are looking for expressions of interest in the following roles:

• Moderators with specialisms in Counselling, Fabrication and Welding, Fashion and Textiles, Animal Care, Foundation Art and Design and Horticulture
• Examiners with specialisms in Counselling
• Independent end-point assessors with specialisms in Fashion and Textiles.

Applicants must be willing to travel and attend training in Nottingham and undertake full-day and half-day visits to Centres, remote moderation and marking.
