This qualification provides learners with an introduction to environmental conservation, and offers practical skills that can be used in the workplace and /or to improve future job prospects. Learners will complete this qualification with a concrete understanding of the following:
- Health and safety for environmental studies, including risk assessment, safety procedures, first aid awareness, and PPE maintenance of equipment
- The importance of effective communication in co-operative working
- Optional units include: Practical Skills for Grassland Areas, Woodland Areas, Coastal Areas, and more
