A Fashion Studio Assistant is a key position in the designer industry, working with the team that creates a collection. They support designers to create new materials, styles, colours and patterns for fashion brands and labels, gaining experience in both product and commercial sides of the brand.
Maximum Funding: £8000
Gateway Requirements
Apprentices will need to achieve Level 2 English and Mathematics
Typical duration to Gateway: 15 – 18 months
The Assessment
Please note that specific dispensations have been agreed with IfATE which means that the EPA has been revised from the Assessment Plan version on the current IfATE web page. Training Providers and Employers are strongly recommended to contact the EPA Team for further details.
The assessment consists of the following components:-
- A ‘Work-based Project Content Development and Approval Form’ must be submitted and agreed by Skills and Education Group Awards
- Practical Test and Discussion
