The Speaking and Listening Award is designed to develop the learners ability to communicate orally in the target language. The Award is divided into three units to support production Unit 1 – Speaking, reception Unit 2 – Listening, and oral communication Unit 3 – Dialogue. On successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to speak the target language, understand spoken language, and be acquainted with cultural conventions.
